I have a scenario which needs to be mapped.
My client is an Sheet Metal Company.
Business Requirement:
We receive mild Steel Plates for manufacturing our semi finished and finished products.
We Issue the steel plates to CNC machine for Cutting Purpose.
CNC Machine cuts the material and produce the steel plate pieces as per the drawings size and shapes provided. The different shapes produced are different part numbers.
Ex: Store is issuing the sheet (6M length x 4M width x 3mm thickness) to cutting shop. On the CNC bed the sheet is cut into different shapes and they are managed in stock as different Part Numbers and UOM is EA or Numbers.
Now the issue is in one sheet with one cutting operation I am receiving multiple part numbers and they are semi finished. How to receive this multiple part numbers in system which got produced from single sheet .
Also, is it possible to capture the cost of each different part numbers produced from single sheet.
Creating multiple production order is not possible, because issuing the material for each and every part is not possible as it is a single sheet.
