Unable to load URL - BIWS - Relative URL
Hi Friends,
I have a Dashboard which is based on BIWS(Web services). Data is coming in the Dashboard at runtime. Things are working fine. Now, I want to move this Dashboard to different Landscape(Dev to QA). To do so, I want to turn the relative URL of all the BIWS connections on, as it is advisable to transport a dashboard with all relative URL so that we dont have to change the server host in the BIWS URL.
The problem I am facing here is, when I remove the prefix text from the URL and keep only the relative part and click on Import, It gives me an error saying
"Unable to load URL".
URL : http://<serverhost>:<port>/dswsbobje/qaawsservices/biws?WSDL=1&cuid=AbuTYmXImL5Ok67aEpGwPiE
Prefix removed: http://<serverhost>:<port>

How to achieve load balancing from portal to SRM through web dispatcher
Hi Experts,
I have been searching for this solution since weeks. this is my scenario.
we have portal NW 7.31 and there is web dispatcher in front of the portal. we have SRM (7.02) connected to portal as backend.
SSO is configured and working fine.
when we set up the system alias for SRM system on portal, we selected as load balancing instead of dedicated application server.
Both SRM and Portal are on cluster (HA).
SRM has (message server and enque server) on virtual host. and has two app servers( SRM A(disp+work.EXE) and SRM B(disp+work.EXE)).
now the issue is catalog transfers are not happening when connected with message server of SRM in (ITS and webAS host) on portal.
but works fine when connection is pointed to single application server of SRM.
how does http load balancing work in this scenario? with connection pointing to single app server we cannot achieve load balancing.
and when we try connecting to SRM message server catalogs transfers are not happening.
please could someone give me the solution for this?

Crashes on SetDataSource Method.
Hi,
I'm using the latest crystal reports for VS 2010 as of 24/7/2013. I'm working on a WPF DLL Library project. I previously had a problem similar to this one:

SP upgrade path from BI 4.0 SP 3 to SP 6
My client is planning for a SP upgrade frpm SP3 to SP6.
So, do i need to just download the SBOP BI Platform Servers 4.0 SP06 Patch 1,2,3 from Service Market Place --> Support Packages/Patches and start installing them.
Yes before that, i have to make sure all the services (except CMS, File repositories) + tomcat + java to be stopped.
Please help me how to proceed. Thanks...

Analysis Authorization in BO 4.0 Webi report
Hi All,
I am using BO 4.0 and creating connection from Information Design tool to a BW query using BICS client. This connection is then published to CMC.
We are using SAP authentication and importing the roles from BW system. We have added profiles to this role and these profiles have Analysis Authorization set on Company Code. So one user can access data to one company code and vice versa. Now this works well in Bex Analyzer, but if I try to create a report in Webi, the analysis authorization fails. I went through the forum before posting this question and I found that is in 3.1 version and in most cases using SSO in universe connection solved the problem.
However in 4.0 I am using BICS client and followed the same processes to create a connection but for some reason it doesn't work ? Is this suppose to work differently in 4.0 ?
I have tried:
1. To create connection in Information Design tool using SSO, selecting user ID and password. It doesn't work.
2. Checked the Bex query and it already has Company code as a Characteristic restrictions (I have made it a mandatory variable).
3. Publish the connection to CMC with my Enterprise and SAP ID and in both cases it doesn't work.
Please let me know if anyone encountered a similar issue and what is the best method to resolve this.
(BO 4.0 no service pack or fix pack installed on the system yet)

Strange values for field USR02-UFLAG
This is a recurrent problem...
This is most likely caused by direct access to the table with db-tools, improper handling of database entries, for example: through custom programs (that might set values to this field directly in database level); it's also possible that the values have been set in debugging mode and were not adjusted afterwards by the author of this modification.

Error when selecting template for installed product
Dear experts,
When setting up the technical monitoring for the BPM (CE) part of my PO system, I'm getting an error when activating the template.
For the J2EE engine all works fine, but when selecting the CE part along, I'm getting the following error:

To solve some issues in the past I have deleted and recreated some stuff, and I wonder if this part of the config is screwed by this.
I have re-imported the content, but the issue still persists..
Could there be something wrong with the content version? Any idea where I can download a higher version of this content? This system does not have an OSS connections.

How can you do time dimensions and non cumulative KFs in HANA, without BW
Dear all,
I am trying to model a simple stock movement scenario using only HANA. No BW. Modeling to also Including the provisioning of data.
I know this functionality exists in sap BW, but for now, that is not an option, and so, not in the scope of my question here,
I have a totally customized application in ERP writing to Z tables.
I want a user to use Lumira or something like that, to query a HANA view, and see a snapshot of stock movement based on the stock status and date.
The challenges that I can see are ...
Records may not exist on a particular date, for a stock at a status, however, the stock can still be counted for that date.
And
When retrieving records for a given time period, we need a non cumulative measure.

SAP Netweaver 7.4 Installation issue
Hi,
I am installing SAP Netweaver 7.4 ABAP on Windows 2008 R2 and Oracle 11.2. During SAP Kernel selection of package, it is asking for SAP:AKK:740:UKERNEL*.WINDOWS_X86_64.*. I have downloaded Kernel Windows X64 from Service market place. I don't see kernel version Windows_X86_64 for download.
Am I missing anything?

How to read excel data into internal table in sap crm

We are working on a program where in we need to read the data from an excel file into an internal table. I have written the below code and is not working. Not sure what is missing in this piece of code.
Any pointers on this would be of great help. I tried checking with Filetype values 'asc','DAT'..
The function module ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE is not available in CRM.

Upload problem in bdc due to long text value in excel

I have an excel to upload in sap through bdc.But the problem is one excel field length more than 1000 and more than 1000 charecter data present in that field.I am using alsm_excel_to_internal_table fm .But unable to populate finak internal table due to this large field in excel.Pls help
