We want to merge one environment(A) to other environment(B). Both are live in BPC 10 NW production system.
A has 2 models(X & Y) which required to be recreated in B with same names.
X and Y, each having specific dimensions which are Sub_item1 & Sub_item2 along with other dims(i.e. X model has Sub_item1,Y model has Sub_item2). But Sub_item1 & Sub_item2 are already exists in environment B, but used in other models of B.
Now we want to create new Sub_item5 & Sub_item6 dimensions in B, which are equivalent to environment A's dims Sub_item1 & Sub_item2.
X & Y model having around 40 & 15 templates respectively. How can I move these templates easily from old A to B ?
Why I am asking is if i open template in B's environment and it says dimension(e.g. Sub_item1) not exists in X(model) of B(environment). In all templates I uncheked "Do not store connection" but checked "Do not store environment in connection" (these are in tab "options" in Edit report of EPM add-in excel). If I proceed further I have to manually replace Sub_item1 with Sub_item5 in all places of template like formatting instructions,exclude members, read-only, which is time consuming,
Is there any program/tool to merge 2 environments?
